Seeing a way out!

There is a crack in the exit door from Iraq. We have lost their hearts and minds because of a series of really dumb errors – which continue everywhere our tanks, appear and our troops take “firm action” only making everything worse and more difficult.

On July 1 an new UN appointed administration will be anxious to tell us to go – and invite NATO, UN, India and Pakistan, Tunis, Algiers, Morocco, Egypt and other non-neighborhood Arab troops, to replace them – but paid for my the US through a UN peacekeeping force – ISF – Iraqi stabilization force – similar to the one in Afghanistan put together by the same UN people.

The regional governments will be given wide powers over their own affairs (as in Afghanistan) with the Oil revenues shared through a oil ministry and reconstruction administration with all powers represented. France and Russia will have a chance to bid on contracts and new oil adventures.

Elections on the regional level will be rushed forward – and the National assembly made up of regional representatives – something like the Bund in Germany.

In The USA policy shifts from Defense to State – The top of the defense department should go – also the generals in Iraq – but appear to safe as much face as possible – having lost the war – the sooner we know it – and act on it the better. In Vietnam we lost in 1968 and held on for five more years. When our people will not fight for themselves we can’t fight for them. If the Iraqi are not able to organize and support a modern government we can not do it for them.

Every time someone says they know what the Iraqi people want they are talking nonsense.
